The Musharakah partnership, explained
We use a Musharakah (joint enterprise) model: parties combine capital to purchase an asset, sharing both risk and profit. Because returns come from asset-backed rent rather than interest (riba), it's a 100% halal pathway to real estate.
Capital pooling
Investors and prospective resident-owners pool funds into the cooperative, replacing the bank mortgage entirely. You receive shares strictly proportional to your contribution — debt-free and interest-free from day one.
Property acquisition
The cooperative buys high-quality residential property outright and holds the title, so your investment is secured by a tangible, real-world asset.
Generating halal income
A resident-owner moves in and pays fair-market rent. Paying for the use of an asset is permissible and distinct from paying interest — this rent forms the partnership's revenue.
Transparent profit distribution
Each month, after setting aside taxes, insurance, and a maintenance reserve, net rental income is distributed to every shareholder based on their exact percentage of ownership.
